Our client, a major oil operator have an opportunity for a Quality Manager to work on a Terminal construction project, on a contract basis in Calgary.
The duties of Quality Control Manager will include, but are not limited to:
o Develop, implement and coordinate quality assurance and quality control activities for all projects.
o Develop, Implement and maintain the Quality Manual, project specific Quality Plans, develop site and project specific Inspection and Test Plans.
o Make occasional field trips to support the on-site quality team members and ensure construction and assembly/fabrication activities meet the requirements of the applicable Approved Equipment Fabrication Standards and drawings, Construction Drawings, Contract, Standards, Provincial and Federal Regulations, and Code(s) of Construction.
o Conducting quality audits, to identify, document, and provide solutions for Non Conformances and initiate Corrective and Preventive Actions.
o Provide assistance with the orientation of new QA/QC field personnel.
o Develop and implement Project Quality Metrics for various fabrication and construction activities.
